It's been cold, wet winter and spring and we've been waiting to plant plants in our garden but it's been too cold so we decided to make a hoop house to warm up the air around the plants.
We planted peas, broccolini, Swiss chard and kale.
To make the hoop house we went to Home Depot and got PVC pipe, anchors, plastic sheeting.
First, we screwed in the anchor to the side of the raised bed and put the larger PVC tube through it.
Then, we inserted the long, flimsy, thinner PVC pipe into the larger tube.
Next, we folded it over the garden and inserted it into the tube on the other side.
Finally, we spread the plastic sheet over the hoops and attached it with clips to hold it down.
Finished product! Grow, veggies, grow!
